Talks, Booksignings, and Other Events


November Maher and Poet Laureate Paulann Peterson, featured speakers at the Southern Oregon Author Fair, will talk about their books on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Medford Public Library. Both will sign books at the Southern Oregon Author Fair, held at the Jackson Co. Fairgrounds, Padgham Pavilion on Nov. 5 from 10 to 5. An event planned is a competition to enter the Guinness Book of Records. 

March Appearance at the Tucson Festival of Books, main mall of the University of Arizona Campus, Tucson, Arizona, on March 10-12. Maher will be signing books on Saturday from 10 am to 11:30 am in the West Tent, and on Sunday from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.

Feb. 26-28, Maher introduces the filmed version of Sir Derek Jacobi's HAMLET at the Third Rail Repertory Theatre in the World Trade Center in Portland, OR.  She has interviewed Jacobi several times.

May 20   Talk & Booksigning at Bloomsbury Books, 290 E. Main St., Ashland, OR, 7 p.m.

May 3    “Author Night,” talk and booksigning at the Ashland Public Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd, Ashland, Oregon, 7 pm.

February 4   Interview with Iowa Alumni Magazine, an author profile and discussion of the books, including Actors Talk About Shakespeare.  Publication of the article scheduled for the Spring edition, April 2010.
